These are some of the things we want to accomplish:
- A bit of speech and mostly debate
- See both sides of a debate
- Ability to debate against your own beliefs
- Research how to debate
- Debate competitions with other schools
- Listen to famous debates
- Possible fundraisers?
Positions and nominees: (names in all caps have already secured the position)
- President: LOGAN [This was a unanimous decision; Logan, please let our advisor know if you do not want to be President.]
- Vice President: Chloe, Colbie, Ian, Beemer [Each nominee will present a speech at the next meeting on why he/she should be elected VP.]
- Secretary: Dennis, Elli, Angela
- Researcher: Alex, Helen, Rebecca, Ashley
- Competitions: Colbie, Helen
- Supply Person: ALEX
- Student Council Liaison: Helen
- Judges: none elected, positions will switch out every other debate
Helen will be in charge of making our idea box.

We are trying to meet in the Tahoe Room next week. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, November 18th at lunch. [There is a new meeting scheduled for Friday, November 14th at lunch in the Tahoe Room.]
